Here are several hints how to recognize such illegal or unprofessional agents or agencies: - ask them to give you agent/agency licence registration number which you can check at Croatian Chamber of Commerce (or we can check it for you), ask them their company registration number OIB, ask them the address of their office and check if it exhist or not, ask them to show you insurance policy against business risk, check around what is average commission percent and compare it with what you were told by that agency/agent; check what internet says about them; find testimonials of their clients if such exhist; if they are not providing true information, or hide information or are missleading, you probably deal with illegal or not registered agent/agency; some of agencies advertise lower prices than provided from owners, those prices are false and are formed as trap to attract buyers; some agencies advertise properties for sale without having direct contact with owner nor contract with owner for mediation in sale of his property, or providing false pictures of advertised properties, or advertising properties which are not for sale aiming to attract buyer this way;  if agent/agency put pressure on you to decide quickly about buying property, beware of possible fraud or criminal act. We strongly recommend you to hire experienced lawyer/solicitor who will check the agent/agency. We are also working with our lawyer to be sure that all information and documents which we prepare about property for our clients/buyers are clean and registered in court.

Villa is a traditional Dalmatian stone house from the 19th century which we renovated into a comfortable villa for 6 to 7persons. Before the construction works on the villa began, we consulted the Split conservation office to preserve as much as possible of the existing Dalmatian architectural tradition and its original charm, but at the same time to meet the modern living standards.

Villa  has just over 130 m2 of the interior, a forecourt with a swimming pool, a roofed sitting area, a garden and a covered parking place. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and also the exit to the „sular“with a view of the sea and the other shore of the Brač sea channel. The „sular“is a local name for the top of a staircase, which was traditionally situated before the main entrance to the living area on the first floor. Now the wooden stairs connect the first floor bedrooms with the living room on the ground floor, where it used to be a room for keeping olive oil, vine, tools etc. On the ground floor, besides the living room with TV and a fireplace, there is also a dining room, fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with a big bathroom, additionaltoilet and one more bathroom. There is an exit from the master bedroom to the small romantic back garden with a terrace. The swimming pool with a hydro massage bench and a garden with an old olive tree are in the forecourt. A wooden sun deck is by the pool, and underneath, on the street level, is the parking place. A particularly attractive place is the outside dining area with a grill, covered with the authentic stone roof, which is traditional in old Dalmatian rural architecture.

Villa  is situated in the old centre of the village  on the island of Brač, some 800 meters away from the sea and the beach. This part of village still has the authentic soul of an old island village. It still has stone houses, narrow streets, and the time you spend here passes more slowly and peacefully. The village is surrounded by old olive trees, orchards and abandoned fields with interesting walking routs "Olive grove treks".

The nearest grocery store is some 3 minutes walking distance from the Villa . There is another shop in the newer part of village, 400 meters from the villa. Restaurant and coffee bar are also in the newer part, which developed closer to the sea in the last 50 years. The beach, Restaurant  and the bar are some 800 meters away from the villa.

In the town of Supetar, 3 km from village, you can find sports facilities, shops, bars, night bars, a cinema, art gallery and a library. There are lots of different cultural events (concerts, Jazz festival, exhibitions, folklore evenings, plays...) organised in Supetar from June to September, as a part of Supetar summer of culture.
